Early Childhood Education

The Certificate in Early Childhood Education is designed for teachers who have a degree at the Associate level or higher but do not have professional certification to teach at the Early Childhood level.  The program comprises professional core courses of the Associate Degree program, which includes one semester (12 weeks) of field experience in an early childhood classroom setting where participants will spend the final semester doing supervised teaching.

Undeclared Major

The Undeclared Major is being utilized as a transition from High School to Associate Level.  This is for students who are undecided/uncertain as the career path they would like to follow.  The student would be able to take the General Education Core requirement courses that is applicable for all programs while they decide on a major.

The program change can be done after semester 1 but should be submitted at the end of semester 2. The student should not be allowed to take more than 45 credits in this program.
